TO THINK

thinkI came across a very interesting picture today, which you can see next to my post. I like it because it shows that what we say doesn’t always show our personality.

When I observe people in my school I usually see very loud ones, who always say their opinion and don’t have problem with expressing themselves. I am usually very jealous of this people, because social abilities that they have enable them to be who they really are, they can  easier find friends since they are all outgoing and interesting and they are also good at communicating with teachers and discussing different topics with them. I usually find it hard to express my thoughts, when there is a bigger group of people, because when they all turn to me my mind goes blank and I can’t even remember what I wanted to say in the first place. I am not saying that I am always quiet, because it is not true. I realised that you can’t be noticed unless your raise your voice, stand out and talk to other people, so I usually try to say something in each situation, to make sure that people at least know I exist. But what I usually say doesn’t really reflect my thoughts very well and my words sound shallowly and boring. I sometimes find it hard to express my opinion, because there are so many things I would like to say, but I also find it hard to translate my thoughts into a form that is interesting to other people.

My point is that there are people in this world who may seem quiet, shy or even boring, serious and unemotional, but that usually isn’t who they really are. They may find it hard to convert their thoughts to people.
